ISI Research Supervision Proposal

ISI participants will follow a research track exploring in detail a particular security or intelligence theme through a series of ‘supervisions’. Supervision, central to Cambridge teaching and learning, brings together a small group of students under the guidance of an expert in the field to conduct research-based work culminating in the production of an extended essay of 3,500 words.
Please use this form to help us understand your research goals during your time in Cambridge. While we endeavour to accommodate proposals focusing on or relating to intelligence and international security, the Programme Directors may suggest ways in which your topic might refined or focused before allocating you to a supervisor.
Briefly describe your proposal in no more than 250 words.
Briefly describe any relevant academic work or professional experience you have already done in this area in no more than 250 words.
